November 15, 2013, Playstation 4 launched in North America. We announced the launch with a film teasing what a perfect day it would be. Then we launched a platform for gamers to share the gaming greatness that resulted in their perfect day.

First To Greatness, asked gamers to use the console’s share button in a race to be the first gamer to accomplish one of 64 challenges across 11 games.

So did November 15 end up being the Perfect Day? 7 million gamers would say so as they made PlayStation 4 the largest console launch in gaming history.
